Scrapbusting Tote

Needing a sewing project for 'in-between sewing projects', I was scratching my head on what to make. I knew I wanted to sew but I didn't want a big commitment, so I raided my fabric scraps and started playing around with them.

I decided to make a simple tote, using scrap batting to decide what size to make.

I think it turned out good, what do you think? I've put it into my 'gift cupboard' for when I need to find a gift for someone - do you think it'd make a good gift?

Anyway, see the process of making it here: https://youtu.be/QS8Zs7UEAbo?si=51NvBqWWKVnBPpcy

I really enjoy sewing this way, it's relaxing and I love seeing the finished product. I think I'll be making more of these in the future!

Oh & I like the thing that I did with the double handles, do you think other people will like that too?

I'd love it if you popped over to my YouTube channel & subscribed to it & even liked some of my videos. Every like, every follower, every comment is like a great big hug!

Quick make pouches, a great gift idea!

If you have lots of scrap fabric and a handful of zips and a spare 5 minutes of your time then you need to make the world's easiest zipper pouches!

You can make them big, small, solid fabrics or scrap fabrics.

Check out how I made them here: https://youtu.be/ht9znMCOX3w?si=XYxpUipNgTVfmmTz

They great for coins, lip balms, cords, earphones, keys etc and absolutely perfect as gifts!

The Green Dress of Awesomeness

I made myself a dress! I'm pretty happy with myself, even if I meant to sew it months ago & even if I did make some pretty major errors when making it (oops!).

The pattern is the Olive dress from Boo & Lu, you can grab the sewing pattern from here.....

If you'd like to see my sewing journey including my crazy errors and the joy of finishing it then go check it out here...

This is my first make of the year, so currently on track with my 2025 Year of the Making thing that talked about here.....
