Gift making: Trivet

Don't be too shocked when I tell you that I've just crossed the first present off my  "Christmas Present Must Make" list!

This is a trivet, you know for putting teapots, saucepans or even plates on. 

Do you like it? Do you think the recipient will? Disclosure: it's actually for a Kris Kringle and our them this year is trivets! (last year it was decorated coat hangers!)

It crocheted up so easily!  Do you believe me? It looks tricky doesn't it but it's not. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to make, I did this in an afternoon!

Pattern is this easy one.

So, what's next on my "Christmas Present Must Make" list?  Well, I'm going to make a batch of these kittys - for my kids & a friends kids but remember..  shh, it's a secret!
