I used this blanket pattern and yes, it's super easy & fun to make. It looks complicated but trust me, the pattern has an easy technique and you'll be super proud of yourself when you've finished a row, then another, then another!
The yarn, well it's became a new favourite I mean check out those colours! I actually purchased more than what I would use so I would have plenty of leftovers to play with! You can get the yarn from here or here.
And speaking of my baby girl (who turns 3 next month), here she is modelling the new blanket:
Isn't she the cutest?!
Anyway, one last shot of the blanket before I say farewell for today.

I'm working this same pattern. Been working it since January. I'm in love with it, but it's taking me forever! I'm using fingering weight yarn, though, doubled up, and it is just eating up the yarn. I can't wait for it be finished. Yours is stunning! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift! So cheerful for a baby too! You might have to make your baby girl one - she seems to love it!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lovely blanket! The scraps would look awesome in the flower blanket you're thinking of.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely an extra special gift for an amazing friend. I just adore the colors.
ReplyDeleteI love the texture in this blanket. It's lovely!
