Yesterday, at 3pm I suddenly realised that I had not organised anything for dinner. Hey, it's 3pm I hear you say you have plenty of time but hey, not in my house... 3pm is the start of hell in my house! The baby was due to wake up & then would need to be changed, dressed, booby fed then the toddler would need afternoon tea as well then there is play time with them both then at 4pm it's the baby's dinner time which takes alllllll of my patience (& a mop!) then it's bathtime for them both then it's the toddler's dinner time then it's 'quiet play' with them both then it's booby time for the baby then it's bedtime then it's adult dinner time...  Phew, I'm exhausted thinking about it (& I've got to do it all again this afternoon too!)

My Winter Garden

One of the things I love about where we live, is our garden. It's not a fancy garden nor an overly productive garden but the most important thing is that it is ours.

Joe & his Milo

So I knitted my boy a vest called a Milo vest. I knitted it within a very short space of time as it needed to be done in May but me being me....didn't do a test swatch and well, it's more of a dress on him but he'll grow into it (eventually!).
