Loose ends

I'm at the point of my granny squares where I've finished a stack but now I need to do the dreaded "sewing in of the ends". 
I hate this part!

    I do mine as I go because faced with a big pile of them at the end is usually the last thing I want do :)

    I'm for doing them as I go, I just use a smaller hook, so when I finish crocheting the square will be finished too. Very nice colours!
